Self-directed 401k Question: If I already have a single member LLC created, do I just file an amendment to make my solo 401(k) the member?

The answer is no.

While our Solo 401k plan certainly allows for investing via an LLC, the Solo 401k must be invested in a brand-new LLC of which the original member is the solo 401(k) and the Solo 401k owner is the manager.
