Individual 401k Question: I set up a solo 401(k) to make 401(k) contributions. Am I required to make contributions to my solo 401(k) every pay period?
RESPONSE:
Great question as making contributions is one of the top reasons that clients open accounts with us.
The response is no a Solo 401k owner is not required to make contributions every pay period.
Instead, a solo 401k owner can make contributions in whichever integral that such person prefers provided that contributions are within the contribution limits, made by the contribution deadline, etc.
