Self-employed Solo 401k Question: Do I have to earn a minimum amount of earned self-employment income to qualify to open a Solo 401k?

There is no minimum requirement – To qualify to open a Solo 401k, you must be reporting self-employment activity and have no full-time w-2 employees working for any business owned by you and related persons (e.g. spouse).
