Who can open a solo 401k plan?

A solo 401k plan is a type of 401k (Traditional 401k) but for the self-employed or owner-only business. Therefore, if falls under the same rules as 401ks for small or large businesses, but a Solo 401k Plan is easier to administer thanks to the passage of EGTRRA (Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act) in 2002.
